Friends of Nairobi National Park (FoNNaP) invites passionate individuals to volunteer and apply for internships that support our mission to safeguard Nairobi National Park—the only urban wildlife sanctuary in Africa. These opportunities are designed for those committed to conservation, community action, and sustainable coexistence between wildlife and people.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Join our dedicated volunteer team to assist with biodiversity monitoring, habitat protection, community outreach, and research activities. Volunteers gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills in conservation, and contribute meaningfully to preserving this critical ecosystem.

Internship Program:

FoNNaP internships provide immersive, practical training in environmental research, advocacy, and community engagement. Interns work closely with Kenya Wildlife Service and our expert staff, gaining exposure to urban wildlife management and corridor protection. This program is ideal for students and early-career professionals seeking to build a meaningful career in conservation.
