FoNNaP Photography Competition 2026
Get creative and enter FoNNaP’s second annual juried photo competition featuring outstanding images produced by our talented Members.
All photos must be taken in Nairobi National Park or the two dispersal-area conservancies adjacent to the park: Naretunoi and Silole. Photos can be from any previous year to present day.
AI photos or Photoshopped photos are not permitted. Editing with contrast, exposure, highlights and other editing tools that do not alter the photograph is allowed.
The four categories are:
Birds of NNP
Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish & Insects
Landscapes: Scenes of NNP - with or without critters
Humor: Showcase photos of any creature that will make viewers laugh.
Judges: The jurors are to be announced.
Amazing prizes for best in category include safari destinations to some of Kenya’s iconic parks and conservancies.
Rules:
Submit entries through the FoNNaP Entry Portal between 6 March 2026 at 12:00pm and 31 March 2026 at 11:59 PM, Nairobi Time.

By entering the contest, each applicant accepts the rules as stated and guarantees that all information provided is truthful. Entries not accurately represented or not abiding by contest rules will be disqualified. Refunds will not be given in case of disqualification and prizes will be forfeited. It is the entrant’s responsibility to provide accurate information including a correct email address for notification. FoNNaP is not responsible for emails that are not received.
FoNNaP assumes no responsibility for submissions. All entrants agree that FoNNaP has the right to use their photographs, as well as their name and likeness in conjunction with the same, without compensation, in any FoNNaP publications whether printed or virtually on the internet.case 2026 Expressions, and in online promotions of future FoNNaP contests in a variety of media including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram.
FoNNaP may also use the images to promote the FoNNaP orgaization. The photographer also grants permission to FoNNaP to use the image(s) in other publications and promotions in support of the FoNNaP
Proper credit will be attributed to images published on the website, in the FoNNaP newsletter or in other promotional or editorial uses, based on photographer information submitted with the entry.
Entrant retains the copyright to the work submitted and this right is not assigned, apportioned, or otherwise impinged by submission, except for the rights permission granted to FoNNaP in the above clauses.
Entry Requirements of the Images:

Entries may not contain:
a. Content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property or rights of a third person or entity or violates rights of publicity or privacy.
b. Content that infringes on any laws or is defamatory or libelous.
The judges’ decisions are final and non-appealable.
All judging is blind with no indication to the judges who the author or creator of the work is.
Entries must be submitted as JPG or JPEG files, sRGB files
